Practicing certified organic standards on our farm, we believe that less manipulated material input yields more culinary value in our produce. Our strong belief that mother nature knows best has yeilded us better tasting and better looking produce through natural organic practices. Working with all natural compost, traditional organic nutrient formulas and organic pest controls, we do not use any synthetic fertilizers or toxic pesticides in our farming practices. We adhere strictly to certified organic standards as described by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) as well as Pennsylvania Certified Organic (PCO).

We believe working with mother nature produces the best foods available. Due to this belief, all of our produce, whether it is grown by us or sourced from Certified (USDA) Organic farms located in the Allegheny Mountain watershed of South-Western Pennsylvania, is grown locally and sustainably through natural practices.
Currently we are sourcing produce from one farm (Blackberry Meadows Farm) in addition to what we are harvesting from our garden, all within 35 miles of downtown Pittsburgh.
